Norco, Calif., chosen to host 2019 US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup

FRISCO, Texas (October 1, 2018) — US Youth Soccer is proud to announce that Norco, Calif., and the California State Soccer Association - South will host the 2019 US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup, June 11-16 at the Silverlakes Sports Complex.

The event will feature approximately 185 Boys and Girls teams in the 13U through 18U age groups. Regional winners of the 13U through 18U Boys and Girls age groups will earn a berth to the 2019 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. The 12U Boys and Girls National Championship Series games are also taking place alongside the Presidents Cup.

"Cal South is honored to host the US Youth Soccer Far West Region Presidents Cup in the summer of 2019," said Cindy Quan, Cal South President. "Teams and athletes from each of the fourteen State Associations will have the opportunity to enjoy all that Southern California and the beautiful Silverlakes Sports Complex has to offer."

The 2019 US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup will bring a regional event back to Southern California for the first time since 2009 when the US Youth Soccer Far West Regional Champioships were held in Lancastter, Calif.

“We are excited to be bringing an event back to Southern California for the 2019 Far West Presidents Cup,” said US Youth Soccer West General Manager, Marley Wilson. “Silverlakes Sports Complex is one of the top soccer facilities in the West and we are looking forward to working with their tremendous staff and the community of Norco to host a great event."

The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup competitions provide a progressive, competitive experience to US Youth Soccer teams from the state to regional to national level. Each US Youth Soccer State Association determines the path through which its state teams advance to the regional competitions.
