Best XI Teams announced for Midwest Conference Fall 2020 season

FRISCO, Texas (Dec. 9, 2020)Based on their standout play in the Fall 2020 season, several players have been named to the Best XI teams for the US Youth Soccer Midwest Conference.

The Best XI teams recognize the top performers in the Premier I and Club vs. Club Divisions of the 15U through 19U Girls age groups, which competition in the fall season. For most age groups, there are three Fall 2020 Best XI teams — one for the Premier I Division and one for each of the two Club vs. Club Division brackets — to highlight players in the Tier I Divisions in the Midwest Conference.

Head coaches within each of the top-tier divisions used a nomination and voting process to select players deserving of recognition for their performance on the field. The Best XI teams are presented in a 4-4-2 formation, with one goalkeeper, four defenders, four midfielders and two forwards recognized in each division.

The Midwest Conference is one of 13 Conferences under the USYS National League in the multi-state tier, and it consists of teams primarily from Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota.
