The Recreation Director will assist in the oversight of the entire recreation program of the Rush Soccer Organization. This position requires the oversight of coaching education along with a professional ability to communicate well with the membership. He/She must possess an ability to work as a team player with employees as well as volunteers. The Recreation Director must be organized, self-motivated and possess an extensive background in soccer. Additionally, this position will also entail coaching two competitive Girls Teams and oversee the age group.

- USSF National “D” License
- Organized and Motivated
- Five Years Coaching Experience

- NSCAA National Youth Diploma
- 10 Years Playing Experience
UNIQUE ASPECTS TO THIS POSITION
The position requires an outgoing personality with the ability to work with volunteers. The Recreation Director must possess the desire to excel and strive to make the Idaho Rush Recreational Program the best in the State.
JOB DUTIES
1. Manage team formation, league schedule, distribution of team rosters, game schedules.
2. General day-to-day administrative tasks. Answer phones and reply to emails.
3. Organize and oversee events for Recreational Program to include Rec-Fest, Mighty Mites, and camps. 4. Oversee recruiting and coach education and volunteers with support & direction from clubs TD.
5. Liaison with Boise Parks and Meridian School District, field operations and set-up.
6. Manage and update Web page and other Rush articles for Recreation program.
7. Work with CEO to set and manage budget for Recreation program.
8. Contribute articles to the Rush Times, website and other PR/Marketing efforts.
9. Build bond between Club and Rec teams (coaches, parents and players) to retain membership.
10. Observe and identify rec players in training and in games for future recruitment of players
