FRISCO, Texas (Aug. 9, 2019) — The US Youth Soccer Midwest Conference, one of the 13 Conferences within the US Youth Soccer Leagues Program, is excited to introduce Club vs. Club Divisions, beginning in the Spring 2020 season.

The standards-based Club vs. Club Divisions are available to top clubs in the 15U-19U age groups, with play being held in the Spring 2020 season for boys teams in the Midwest Conference. The Club vs. Club Divisions are expected to be added for girls teams in the 2020 Fall season.

Boys Clubs | Midwest Conference – Spring 2020 Club vs. Club Division

FC United (IL)
Galaxy SC (IL)
JB Marine SC (MO)
Libertyville FC 1974 (IL)

Lou Fusz Athletic (MO)
Midwest United FC (MI)
SC Wave (WI)
St. Louis Scott Gallagher (MO)

The clubs selected to participate in the Club vs. Club Divisions within the Midwest Conference have all proven to be successful in top US Youth Soccer competitive programs, including the US Youth Soccer Conferences, US Youth Soccer National League and US Youth Soccer National Championship Series.

“Each club that is participating in the inaugural season of Club vs. Club Divisions within the Midwest Conference has proven to meet a high standard in the philosophy, coaching and resources it applies to developing youth soccer players,” said Marc Frankland, league manager for the Midwest Conference. “The Club vs. Club Divisions provide a great environment to match up like-minded clubs in a competitive league structure, which meets specific club standards, with advancement opportunities to the National League and National Championship Series that are typical of the top divisions of the US Youth Soccer Conferences.”

The Club vs. Club Divisions will allow the first place teams in the 15U-17U age groups to qualify for the following season’s National League — the national tier and highest level of play in the US Youth Soccer Leagues Program.

In the 15U through 19U age groups, the top team in the Club vs. Club Divisions (that is not a State Cup Champion) will have the opportunity to qualify for the current seasonal year’s US Youth Soccer Regional Championships, either through direct qualification or through a wildcard selection process.
