About The Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame


Established in 1992 The Hall of Fame “belongs” to the Indiana soccer community and not to any one organization or group of individuals. It honors individuals whose outstanding achievements and significant accomplishments have had a long lasting effect upon the sport of soccer in Indiana and merit the highest recognition.

Goals & Objectives
  • To promote the sport to both the soccer community and to the general public
  • To honor those who contributed to the growth of soccer in Indiana
  • To provide future generations with exemplary citizenship role models
  • To build and bring public attention to the sport of soccer

DaMarcus needs little introduction. He's been on the international stage for close to twenty years. The Fort Wayne product is one of a few international players to play in four World Cups, featuring for the U.S. in 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014


Abdessamad BENSALAH

Abdu has been a U.S. Soccer Referee since 1989. During his career he has refereed amateur and professional levels. He has also been an Assignor, Assessor and Referee Mentor since 2007.



John was a successful Head Coach of the Women's program at DePauw University for 24 years earning Coach of the Year honors multiple times. He was also the Indiana Soccer ODP Director for eight years where he coached and mentored 100's of players and coaches along the way.



Steve was longtime and winningest Head Coach at I.U.P.UI. for the Men's program from 1995-2011. He is currently Indiana Soccer Association's Director of Coaching and is involved in many different organizations and instructing roles state and nationwide
