The Premier Division of the Montana State Spring League exists to provide the highest level of competition in Montana for 13U-19U Boys and Girls teams. Registered Premier teams are obligated to play all other Premier teams at their age. The format of the division and schedule will vary by age and gender as it is based on the number of participating teams . Each Premier team must be available to play a minimum of 5 weekends during the spring season. Additionally, teams in divisions of 4 teams or more must be available to play on Saturday, May 18th. Divisions of 2-3 Teams:
Each Premier A team shall play the other Premier A teams twice, once at home and once away. Note, certain exceptions to this rule may be made based on distance between opponents. Neutral locations may be used to limit travel.
At the conclusion of the Premier League season, the league winner is determined as the team with the most Premier League points.
No Final is needed.
Divisions of 4 Teams or More:
Each Premier A team shall play each of the other Premier A teams once.
At the conclusion of the Premier League season, the #1 and #2 seeds from league play will be determined.
On May 18th, the #1 and #2 seeds will play each other in a Final at the home field of the #1 seed. Note, certain exceptions to this rule may be made based on distance between opponents. Neutral locations may be used to limit travel. Field and referee availability will also be considered when selecting a location.
On May 18th, seeds #3, #4, etc. are welcome to participate in consolation games as they wish.
