2018 US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup Begins June 12 in Salt Lake City

FRISCO, Texas (June 6, 2018) — The schedule is now available for the 2018 US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup, which kicks off June 12 at the Salt Lake City Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City.

The tournament will feature more than 120 US Youth Soccer boys and girls teams in the 13U through 19U age groups, competing for a regional title and a chance to advance to the 2018 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, July 11-15 in Westfield, Ind.

The event will also feature the 12U Boys and Girls teams participating in the National Championships Series. With the National Championships in Frisco, Texas starting at the 13U age group, this is the pinnacle event for the 12U teams. 

Preliminary games in Salt Lake City will take place Tuesday, June 12 through Thursday, June 14. Quarterfinal matches will take place Friday, June 15, and semifinals will be played Saturday, June 16. Regional champions will be crowned following final matches on Sunday, June 17. All games will take place at the Salt Lake City Regional Athletic Complex.

The event will feature teams from 13 West Region State Associations, including host Utah Youth Soccer Association. The other State Associations represented are Alaska, Arizona, California-South, California-North, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming

The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup offers teams the challenge of experiencing different types of play by competing from state to regional to national levels. The Presidents Cup provides teams with a progressive, competitive experience that highlights competition, camaraderie and community.
