Draw Announced for US Youth Soccer’s 2023 League Championship

FRISCO, Texas (Jan. 31, 2023) - US Youth Soccer today announced the draw for teams competing at the third-annual League Championship, which will be held May 20-21, 2023, at the River City Sportsplex in Richmond, Virginia.­

The League Championship program creates an additional pathway into the USYS Eastern Regional Championships. In addition to the competitive benefit it offers, League Championship continues to strengthen relationships with leagues and maintains the structural integrity of existing programs, competitions and events offered by US Youth Soccer.

To qualify and advance from League Championship as a wild card, teams must participate in league play as well as their State Associations USYS National Championship Series State Cup competition.

The Atlantic Premier League (APL), Club Champions League (CCL), Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL), and National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) will all field teams at this year’s League Championship.
